Digg me

This week we morn the loss – and celebrate the life of J. Kim Sorensen.

Mere words are difficult to express how stunned we all are over Kim’s sudden passing on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. He was 62 years old.

By all accounts, Kim was well on his way to a full recovery after having a double lung transplant less than a year ago. During last years Convention in St. Louis, Kim let us all know about his condition and how grateful he was to have been given a second chance. While still very weak at Convention time and considered critical in regard to fending off infections – we all admired his strength, his gratitude, and his faith.

Within time, Kim was well enough to return to the Home Office as his familiar “Buddy Boy” rang throughout the office. He was at work as late as this past Monday. A routine Doctors visit was scheduled for Wednesday morning for a checkup and breathing treatment.

It was during this breathing treatment that Kim passed on.

It’s difficult to understand at this point just why someone like Kim had been chosen to leave us so soon. For so many of us, Kim was more than just a Founder and figure head. He was a mentor, a friend, and brother in Christ.

It was Kim who found a bankrupt travel agent call center over a decade ago and the one who born the idea of YTB. (He also found Beryl Martin out of bankruptcy, the company that prints our marketing material and built our staging like the Statue of Liberty.) A very bright and savvy business mind who knew how to diversify and create true financial freedom.

Kim leaves a remarkable legacy in YTB. Personally, I can’t help but think about our new partnership with First Travel Alliance (more news about that later this week) and what Kim set up for all of us late last year. While Kim’s passing is a tragic loss to all of us – YTB Travel Network is stronger than ever.

If we could have only known back then how fortunate we all are today because of this merger. (Don’t think for a second that “Someone” didn’t already know.)

The YTB Home Office will close at 12:00 pm Central Time on Monday, February 6, 2012 in honor of our Founder Kim Sorensen and to allow the YTB Home Team to attend the afternoon Memorial Celebration. Regular office hours will resume Tuesday, February 7.

A public celebration of Kim’s life will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 3:00 pm Central at Enjoy Church in Alton, Illinois. Many of you may know Pastor Daren Carstens from past years Conventions and his Enjoy Church. One HUGE benefit of his church is their Audio/Video ministry which I realized can provide all of us a fitting remembrance and memorial for Kim.

At our suggestion and request – this service will be available to view online live from this link. This will provide all of us an opportunity to participate in this memorial – even if we can’t be there in person.

The Home Office has also created loving a tribute and fond memories of our dear friend available here.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up at:

Mid America Transplant Services
1110 Highland Plaza Drive East, Suite 100
St. Louis MO 63110

Or donations may be made to:

Enjoy Church
3303 Homer Adams Parkway
Alton, IL 62002

In closing, and a fitting tribute for us – Kim’s favorite quote that we’re sure you’ve heard if you spent any time with him is “I need everyone to get in the game.”

What better way to honor the life and memory of Kim than that? What better way to appreciate this wonderful opportunity and sell even just one travel booking or vacation in Kim’s honor?! It’s up to us to keep his dream alive and personally, I can’t think of a better product or industry to do it with.

Thank you Kim. For your love, your inspiration, your leadership and your faith in us to make all that we have possible in the world of travel.

You may be gone for now, but never forgotten.

With love and our deepest respect,

Your YTB Family

Farewell Kim Sorensen…

Update: I have been flooded with questions regarding the cause of Kim Sorensen’s sudden passing. From what I have been able to gather thus far, Kim was doing very well in his recovery regarding his double lung transplant last year. He was at work in the Home Office on Monday and by all accounts – doing very well.  Kim had a regularly scheduled doctors appointment Wednesday morning where he was to undertake a very common breathing treatment.

It was during this breathing treatment that he passed on.

Details are still coming in along with other arrangements.

We’ll keep you posted as we all morn this sudden loss.

~~~
I was in a meeting this afternoon and my phone started to ring off the hook. A bunch of YTB names I knew too.
After my meeting, I picked up the voice mail – but could only get through the first message.
YTB Founder, Kim Sorensen has passed away.
I guess the best word I can come up with right now is “stunned”.
Many of us knew from this past years Convention that Kim was given a double lung transplant. A shock to most because Kim was a very private man, and we had no idea that he was even sick. We admired his strength and courage – and most like myself felt he was well on his way to a full recovery.
You may also know that YTB was the brain child of Kim all those years ago. Using travel as a vehicle for a dynamite network marketing model. I had the honor of speaking with Kim one on one several time both in person and over the phone. He was genuine, sincere, and while he didn’t talk about his faith all that much – he certainly walked the walk.
Because of Kim’s leadership YTB climbed Travel Weekly’s Power List since 2006, as well as Travel Weekly naming Kim one of the most influential people in travel directly. He most certainly made an impact in the travel industry – using average every day people to impact the industry.
Here is the notice I received from the Home Office – and really can’t express this loss in any other way. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Today we say goodbye to more than a great man.
It is with great sadness that we announce J. Kim Sorensen took his last breath on Wednesday morning, February 1, 2012. While he will forever be remembered as our fearless Founder, the man who had the vision to see beyond a failed venture and turn it in to one of the greatest stories ever told, we all know that he is much more than that. A great man to say the least, Kim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend to so many of us.
Please join us in remembering Kim’s extraordinary life and passion for helping individuals write their own success story. As he always said, “I need everyone to get in the game.” Let’s join together to honor his memory and celebrate a life well-lived.
Please share your favorite Kim moments by clicking here.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been determined. More details will be released soon.
YTB Travel Network = “Best of The Best”
Digg me
Over the years, we’ve been told by some very irate and irrational “travel agents” that travel vendors despise our company. It’s part of a ploy in an attempt to rid the industry of a business model they don’t understand and actually fear because they can’t wrap their small minds around a very basic and simple business concept.
Because they feel this way – everyone feels this way. It ties into their self worth and identity as a “travel professional”.
I hate to break it to these clowns, but I really don’t have to ask. I’ve seen and heard enough from vendors themselves to know that they not only “get” our company and our model – they’re actually very impressed with what we do and how we do it. You need to realize that these vendors are far more business minded than any of these independent critics that you’ll see floating around slamming our company in order to save their own independent business.
I’ve also been told countless times that our company would never make it in it’s current form. This mantra ties right into the many myths and legends that have choked logical thinking for decades when it comes to Network Marketing. Funny thing is – at this time of year (when another year is almost over) these same critics who have been spewing that we’d never make it past 2008 – then 2009 – and then 2010 – they all lay pretty low right about now.
Reality hit these guys pretty hard recently when they finally figured out after a couple of weeks what Sixth Scott, LLC actually was and what it meant for YTB Travel Network. Not only was this a big blow to their spin pointing at this notion that YTB Travel Network isn’t a legitimate travel business, it also threatens to overturn the one company that went out on a limb for these guys back in 2007.
Fast forward to the end of 2011 and we find ourselves with a brand new booking engine thanks to our new partnership with Sixth Scott – but we find yet another travel vendor who has recognized YTB Travel Network as a top producer in the travel industry.
For those of you who appreciate YTB the way I do – please enjoy the following press release.
For those who don’t – it’s yet another example of how you just can’t admit that you don’t have a clue about who we are and what we actually do.
And to Travel Impressions – Please remember that any backlash you may get from recognizing a solid, viable, and legitimate Travel Host is indicative of how badly we not only need new blood in this industry but updated minds in business in order to thrive in these changing times.
YTB TRAVEL NETWORK RECOGNIZED AS A TRAVEL IMPRESSIONS’ ‘BEST OF THE BEST’ TRAVEL AGENCY
FARMINGDALE, NY (Dec. 8, 2011) – YTB Travel Network was recognized recently by Travel Impressions (http://www.TravelImpressions.com), one of the country’s largest tour operators selling destinations worldwide, as a “Best of the Best” travel agency which is given to top performing agencies and consortia partners. YTB Travel Network was invited to attend Travel Impressions 16th annual “Best of the Best” gala event, held Nov. 30 – Dec. 3, 2011 at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach in Cancún, Mexico.
“Best of the Best” honors are bestowed on a limited number of agencies that are top producers for Travel Impressions, and that are considered to be its best partners.
“We are honored to be recognized as one of Travel Impressions’ Best of the Best travel agency partners,” said Shelly Coppersmith. “We are committed to providing our clients with the very best vacation experience and working with Travel Impressions ensures a high level of customer satisfaction.”
In attendance at the Best of the Best four-day event from YTB Travel Network was VP Shelly Coppersmith. She was able to hear an industry update from Travel Impressions’ President and CEO Steve Gorga as well as participate in round table networking sessions with attending suppliers. A golf tournament and spa pampering at the Coral Beach Gem Spa were also offered.
There were many sponsored events and activities including a welcome dinner hosted by the Cancún Convention & Visitors Bureau and The Riviera Maya Destination Marketing Office, a dinner reception on the second evening sponsored by the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism, and the gala cocktail reception hosted by Mexican Tourism Board.
A performance by The Village People, best known for the disco hits YMCA, Macho Man and In the Navy, was a highlight of the “Best of the Best” gala celebration.
In the spirit of holiday giving, YTB Travel Network participated in Travel Impressions charity program by donating a variety of school supplies to the Palace Resorts Foundation’s Education Committee for distribution to school children in Cancún.
Direct From YTB’s Kim Sorensen…
Digg me
Real quick today. (I’m kinda pressed for time….)
A Google Alert came in Sunday night which linked to an interesting interview in Travel Weekly with YTB Founder Kim Sorensen.
I’ve read over the years that our Founders are like the men behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz. I’ve never really comprehended that analogy or perspective. I’ve not only seen, but have spoken personally to each of the YTB Founders on numerous occasions and found them to be extremely personable individuals. Each of them have been extremely accessible ever since I’ve known them.
It was meeting Coach personally some 7 years ago that convinced me that YTB was the right company for me. He came to Atlanta – I heard him speak and when I asked if he was from Pittsburgh, (because I detected a bit of Pittsburgheze dialect) he told me he was also a huge Steelers fan.
That’s all it really took for me. (LOL!)
I can’t however, point to a single instance, or face to face exchange with critics who are slinging this type of perspective via a keyboard all over the internet. (I’ve never personally met or spoken to any of them.)
Any-who…
Take a look at this interview with Kim. Trevel Weekly asked for the interview, and Kim obliged. I find that the interview not only takes away the “issues” the industry has about our model, but provides the solution the industry has always wanted.
I wonder if the industry will finally get of this kick about focusing on these so called “problems” they have – and start doing something a little more productive. (Like working with us on this solution?)
Time will tell I guess. (But I wouldn’t hold my breath.)
That Nervous Twitch
Digg me
A couple weeks ago, I mentioned that ignorance and injustice has never been something I’ve tolerated very well. It’s not that I expect everyone to know everything – people make mistakes (including me) all the time. But – I do expect people to be capable of learning. These “mistakes” are the lessons learned that helped people like Edison invent the incandescent light bulb. I’ve heard that he “failed” anywhere from 1000 to 10,000 times before he figured it out. The actual number of times isn’t important – but the concept that you adjust and correct with each mistake made to end up with success is.
It’s that type of thinking and determination that has helped YTB return to the original name – better, stronger, and with more conviction I’ve seen in a long time.
I’ve had more subscription signups to our newsletter in the last few weeks than I think I’ve had all year. I also had to create a separate category in my Outlook for the private YTB Facebook pages and the notifications that are coming in. My inbox became flooded with YTB posts. (There’s some really useful information there, and it’s always needed a special folder.)
Not everyone appears to be on the same page in sharing the excitement and passion for success that we do. Make no mistake, they certainly see it – and they know exactly what it all means. Our passion and excitement unfortunately gives them a nervous twitch.
From the day it appeared on my blog, (which I can still recall) one guy has produced an entire comedy of errors, missteps, and mishaps. This self-proclaimed “expert” decided to make it his personal mission to pick a fight with me, you, or anyone else associated with YTB. John Frenaye got more than he bargained for when he came trolling onto this blog to pick on what he assumed was just another “lowly MLMer”.
Instead of cowering or avoiding, I responded to both him and his illusions. His perceptions of MLM and YTB simply don’t match my reality or experience. I did see John’s charade as a valuable lesson in exactly what not to do, and how not to think. His so called “problems” with MLM, gave insight into what to avoid. Although by doing this you couldn’t avoid his pessimistic rants, which helps tremendously.
Although John never mustered up enough courage or strength to sit down with YTB face to face to discuss his “issues” with the company and our model, his Internet persona and constant bullying in every nook and cranny associated with YTB did provide insight for not only myself, but YTB to look at the perceptions and adjust accordingly.
I have no idea how this whole thing has worked out for John, but I don’t think it’s been all that pleasant. Nobody likes to be made the fool like I’ve highlighted and documented here. Not that it’s been a bed of roses for me either. Personally, and for others who have gone through this battle with me in YTB however, it’s been a great experience and lessons learned because unlike John, and others like him, we actually know how to learn and adjust from the mistakes we all make.
It makes us stronger, more resilient, and better than ever before.
John on the other hand, just doesn’t make them. “Mistakes” I mean. He’s still just as stubborn and bull headed as ever. Sticking to his illusions that MLM and its people are inferior to him or anyone outside of the “cult” that hasn’t been drinking the Kool-Aid.
And that my friend is exactly why this personal crusade of his and this battle that’s waged inside his head has been going on for at least the last four years. He hasn’t learned a blessed thing.
You might be thinking to yourself, “If an old dog like TravelPro can learn a few new tricks, certainly someone like John can – couldn’t he?
Not exactly.
I’ve heard it said from more critics than just John, that cynics think we MLM’ers are so caught up in the cult and drunk on the Kool-aid that our identity becomes attached to it. Without a YTB or another MLM to hang on to, we’re lost without any meaning. Truthfully, I think that concept speaks more about themselves than it does about any of us.
See, the whole idea of MLM is to teach the average person how to change from an employee mentality to a business owner mentality. The heart of MLM, what makes it tick and beat, is ground floor access to a business that will teach anyone who is willing how to become a real true entrepreneur and business owner. The problem as I see it, isn’t actually the MLM business itself, but the actual person running the business.
I look at the traditional business I came under contract with a couple weeks ago. The territory was run into the ground, and the old manager is filing for bankruptcy. If it were MLM, critics would be yammering about how the model failed. Now that I’ve been working this new business a few weeks and have done a couple P & L’s – I can’t for that life of me figure out how he couldn’t make this work – other than the fact that he didn’t know how to control expenses, and honestly was just plain lazy.
In other words, the model and the territory are just fine – it’s the business owner who didn’t put the proper time and effort into it that landed him in bankruptcy.
Network Marketing is not different. There’s a reason why the word “work” is in there – it takes “work”. This idea that you pay money and just sit back and collect checks is the most absurd notion there is in the MLM industry. You’re paid based on activity and results. No activity equals no money. To put it another way, you get out of it what you actually put into it. How it’s perceived by some as any different than any other business is a big red flag that they actually don’t know anything about business or what it takes to succeed.
For critics and cowards like John or the folks in the Class Action who have an average of 6 months of business experience among them, it’s just easier – or rather more comfortable to point the finger at MLM. They never notice the three fingers pointing right back at them.
I know commissioned sales can be a real drag – even overwhelming. It used to create its own nervous twitch inside me way back when. You have no idea how lucky you are to have a company like YTB, a product like travel to sell, and a mentor like Coach, Scott and Kim to learn the ropes and overcome that fear. And, yes, you’re even lucky to have someone like John to show you exactly what not to do and how not to think as an added bonus.
Considering where I’ve been and where I am today, I wouldn’t trade any of it in. I feel nothing but confidence and success because I knew who was right and who was dead wrong.
You too can rid yourself from that nervous twitching when you know who and what to join up with.
Ain’t no doubt about it for me.
It was Y-T-B.
Booyah! YTB Is Back!!
Saturday, July 30th, 2011
Digg me
The rumble you heard or felt at 10:05 am Eastern yesterday morning wasn’t an earthquake.
Rather what you might have heard or felt were thousands of faithful Convention goers who were told that the product and name they know and love is now back, front and center.
YTB Travel Network.
Seriously, the place went absolutely nuts! As if a long lost member of the family had just returned from the war.
The announcement was made very first thing Friday morning by YTB Travel Network President, Kim Sorensen. A man who just weeks prior had a double lung transplant. (Seriously!) He first told his story about the process and how grateful he was that a donor was not only found for his rare blood type, but he could have the surgery so quickly. It was important for Kim that he be the one to tell the Convention floor first hand that the ZamZuu Convention everyone thought they were attending – would actually be a YTB Convention because YTB and Travel is back.
It’s not that ZamZuu and online shopping will be ditched altogether. There are some great products and stores associated with that side of the company. Nor do I dislike the idea of ZamZuu and online shopping. I’ve been hooked up with stores and been doing affiliate marketing and direct sales like this long before ZamZuu ever came along.
That being said, I signed up with YTB Travel Network to get paid for doing what I was already doing. Telling anyone I could that “a cruise was the best vacation money could buy”. I tried to get paid for doing just that before I joined, but YTB was the first Host Agency that didn’t snub their nose at me because I didn’t have the education or the experience they told me was required.
So I went via the route of “on the job training”. Learning as I went along, accessing the vast amount of opportunities and training available through the company and the industry as a whole to create my own work experience and my own client base.
Funny thing is – YTB became such a dominant force in the industry by attracting folks just like me that before everyone knew it the company was growing at such a rapid pace it scared the snot out of same noses that once snubbed at me. What they said couldn’t be done was in fact being done by a bunch of so called MLM Yahoo’s.
As a result the company, it’s people and the model was viciously attacked by these same snobs. A few resorted to daily rants on blogs and message boards in an attempt to shame the company into submission. Others tried to turn vendors against the company as a pariah that cost them money and hurt their bottom line and reputation. While others who have no idea what a pyramid scheme actually is convinced a couple gullible Attorney Generals that they could actually shut the company down with this illusion that we were paying for the opportunity to recruit others.
I can’t say that none of that worked – at least to some degree. But for those of us who are capable of making up our own mind, following our own values, morals and ethics, and can actually comprehend how and why MLM works, we find we’ve come full circle as a company that’s now 10 years old. YTB is no longer just a bunch of “greenies” who you can kick around and mock to have us cower in some corner.
Ignorance, intolerance, and injustice has never been something I’ve tolerated very well. Fact is, nobody in YTB’s 10 year existence ever “paid for the opportunity to recruit others”. What everyone paid for was a Host Agency, a vehicle to sell travel services with. With the exception of my first year in business back in 2005, I’ve never lost money from travel commissions earned. (Although I did have enough bookings in the hopper my first year to cover those costs.)
Today, I have the best compensation package in the industry, and have had it for years. It’s the only company that will pay anyone who actually produces bookings what they are worth. I’m proud to be a member of YTB Travel Network because we’ve succeeded where no one else has. And while that may rub some in the industry the wrong way, and we may see a resurgence of the shaming, the spin and the lies – at this point it speaks more about their own intolerance and insecurity than it ever will about anyone in YTB.
We’ve seen it all the last couple of years. Claims of bankruptcy, or the entire industry pulling out, outrageous lawsuits, speculation that our Founders would run off with our money, and this fantasy that the company would be ditching travel altogether. None of it came true or at least worked out the way these snobs and critics claimed it would. And this “TravelPro” couldn’t be happier to inform them of that fact.
With the Hall of Fame inductions coming up next weekend – I’m reminded of a 2007 speech given by Michael Irvin. He talked about his trails, his failures, his adversity in being a man and a player worthy of being a member of the Hall of Fame. I can still see the tears in his eyes as he recited the words he heard at one of his lowest points of his life.
It said “Look up. Get up. And don’t ever give up.”
If you want to be a part of history – If you want to be truly successful in life – If you want to matter in this world and leave a legacy – that’s exactly what you need to do.
My thanks to Coach, Scott, and especially Kim Sorensen for “Looking up. Getting up. And never giving up” on this company, this model, and our people.
YTB is back!
Fifth Year – YTB Makes Travel Weekly’s Power List
Tuesday, June 28th, 2011
47
Digg me
For the fifth year in a row, YTB Travel Network makes Travel Weekly’s Power List of the top 50 Travel Agencies. Some will be a bit surprised. Others will be pleased. While I’m sure there will be others who will be (as they always are) frustrated with another year of YTB being included in Travel Weekly’s listing.
Personally, I consider this year’s listing as one of the finest showings from previous years for several reasons. This year’s listing dispels the skewed and misleading math formulas we’ve seen in years past from socialist pin heads. It also puts to rest any notion that the word “Travel” in YTB Travel Network is an afterthought.
Let’s not forget as well, all the mud that was thrown up in the companies face three years ago that has now been cleaned off, putting any claims of pyramid or ponzi schemes behind the company.
I’m quite certain that some had dreams and others feared that California’s Attorney General could actually put an end to the company. If California couldn’t get it done, surely Illinois or the opportunist ambulance chasers would. Yet, here I am three years later with the same capabilities in selling travel, and a better commission split to boot.
Clearly, YTB Travel Network has had its share of the spotlight. Some good – some bad – and some just completely bogus accusations. (Some have turned out to be rather comical.) Through it all however, YTB Travel Network has survived because of a very solid foundation laid by the Founders of the company and a few thousand loyal “Travel Agents” who appreciated a different approach in selling travel.
So, here we are – the numbers from the Travel Weekly Power List:
At number 34 – YTB Travel Network
2010 Sales: $221.7 million
Employees: 120
Previous Rank: 29
What is so impressive about this spot is the company has accomplished this number with a small fraction of people compared to years past. At the companies height (before the mudslinging and bogus lawsuits) YTB Travel reported 92,383 travel sellers who sold $424.1 million in travel. What “socialist pin heads” did was divide total sales by the total number of travel sellers. This year, the company reported 12,200 travel sellers who sold $221.7 million in travel.
So why the big jump in “average sales”?
Clearly, these “averages” we’ve seen (or are forced upon Network Marketing companies from our fine Government as “Income Disclosures”) aren’t what they’re cracked up be. You can’t possibly dictate to anyone what someone is capable of selling based on average numbers. Some will excel, while others won’t do a blessed thing to get their business off the ground. Travel sellers who weren’t making any money (because they couldn’t change their thinking or work ethic from “employee” to “business owner”) are now gone. Those who could grasp the thinking and habits of “business” were making money as travel sellers and are still around and producing numbers more consistent with traditional travel agents. It’s always been like this – but it wasn’t until now that we see how the real world actually works – not some mathematical theory.
We’ve heard over and over again that our focus isn’t travel. Again, you can’t dictate as an overall consensus (just like the bogus “averages” above) that’s true for everyone. I got into YTB Travel Network so I could get paid for telling people that a cruise was the best vacation money could buy. I’m still just as passionate about the industry as I was the day I signed up. Sure the other products offered via the ZamZuu shopping cart are nice. In fact, I was selling similar items here on this blog long before ZamZuu ever came about. Ever since I changed hats from employee to business owner, you become educated about what multiple streams of income can do for your bottom line.
While it’s a nice bonus, my focus – and what fires me up is still travel.
Well, that and the Pittsburgh Steelers. But just because I moved from Pittsburgh to Atlanta 19 years ago, I’m still just as much of a diehard fan than I ever was. (Okay – fanatical, but you get the idea.) You know damn well, you’re never gonna take the Steelers out of this boy. You’ll also never take the passion I have for travel out of me either.
While others in our industry would like our focus to be something else – it’s honestly not up to them to tell me, you, or anyone else what we should or should not focus on. Travel got us to where we are – and travel will continue to carry this company in the future. It’s a fantastic product that everyone still enjoys talking about and still the number one answer to a question I’ve asked for years.
If you had more time and more money – what would YOU do?
What makes this year’s list especially gratifying is that all the crap from California, Illinois, and a handful of ambulance chasers is now behind the company. All laid claim about being a pyramid scheme. Thing is, pyramid schemes are illegal and scams like that are ultimately shut down. Sure, there will be those who will continue to throw that out there – and that’s perfectly fine. Looks worse on them at this point than it ever will YTB, because it illustrates they haven’t learned a blessed thing. (And most likely, never will.)
I really could care less – because all I have to do is pull up my booking engine and look at another listing on this year’s Power List.
Nuff said.
YTB Travel Network will move on as it always has. Like I said before – travel got us here, and travel will continue to be a major asset for YTB International. If the company can do this with all the obstacles thrown up to distract everyone – imagine what it can do now with this core group of travel sellers.
Nothing like a little dose of reality to get things cranked back up again now is there? The way I see it, there’s nothing stopping this company from climbing back up this list to even higher levels once reached in years past. Difference is, there were lessons learned from the first go around that will make it all that much easier to accomplish if everyone pitches in.
Based on what this year’s list has shown us, the company is leaner, meaner, and battle tested for another great run.
